Dormant customers

Customers who have not been for a long time get one invitation.

Not because they are gone, but because nobody asked them yet. Revenaro sees who is past their own rhythm and invites them for a real free slot.

In test: built and checked, switched off for every business and never used with real customer data.

One invitation
Studio Lumen · Mia
Hi! This is Mia, the digital assistant for Studio Lumen. It has been a while. We have a spot for Cut and blow-dry, Thursday 12 November at 09:30. Fancy dropping by again? Confirm here: revenaro.com/pak/m4q9 No more messages? Reply STOP.
It says nowhere how long somebody has been away, and nowhere that a slot “just” opened.

Who gets an invitation, and when

  1. 1

    Every customer has a rhythm

Someone who comes every six weeks is dormant after about three months. Someone who comes twice a year only after about nine.

  2. 2

Only those who are really gone

At least 90 days, and past their own rhythm. Whoever has been gone for longer than 18 months gets nothing: too weak a reason for a message nobody asked for.

  3. 3

One invitation with a real slot

A free slot with a link, at the earliest 36 hours away and at most 10 days. No empty "come back some time".

  4. 4

    Then it stops

At most 2 invitations between two visits, at least 60 days apart, and at most 5 a day per business.

What the message never does

Say how long you have been away

No 'we have not seen you for 214 days'. That feels like being watched, and for some people it is not even right.

Pretend a slot just opened

That would not be true. The slot is simply there. There is no hurry, so the message does not create one.

Push

If the customer says no, that is fine. Whoever writes STOP hears nothing more.

What it costs

10% of the value of the first booking that comes from such an invitation. Never on top of the saved hour fee: one booking pays one of the two.

What we do not know yet

Whether people really come back because of such an invitation, we will only know with real businesses. A control group will come with it, so you also see how many would have come back anyway.

How far along it is

Win back dormant customers

In test

A customer who has not been for a long time gets one friendly invitation at their own rhythm, with a real free slot.

Where it stands. Built and tested, switched off for every business and never used with real customer data. The message never says how long somebody has been away and never pretends a slot just opened.

Import your customer list

In test

Bring your customer list in from a file (CSV, text file or the contacts of your phone) in a few clicks. The date of the last visit is kept.

Where it stands. Works from a file. An Excel spreadsheet you first save as CSV. Importing from a photo of a paper agenda exists only in the prototype.

Safe messages

In test

Every message says it is an assistant, offers a free way to stop, and never goes out outside your opening hours.

Where it stands. Enforced in the code and covered by automatic checks, including STOP in four languages. A real customer has not received a message yet.
